Hello to all of our loyal customers,

I will keep this brief, as I am sure you have been following the news and have received many emails from other businesses you bless with your patronage. Here are the things you need to know regarding Shepherd's Hut Wines and the COVID-19 crisis:


Yes, we are still operating. I think it is fair to say that wine is classed as an essential service... especially in these dire times! In fact, I'm not sure why there has been such a rush on toilet paper... Myself, I've stocked my wine cellar instead! And I hope that's what you will do too! Seriously, can anyone think of anything worse than being in lockdown with the family without wine?!

However, there have been some slight changes to how we are operating as a result of these unprecedented times:

Wine Delivery for Perth Metro

  1. We are posting all of our wine. Sorry Perth people, that means you will have to pay postage on your deliveries starting now. My grandfather, Michael, usually does our Perth deliveries, but as he is in the "at risk" category (well over 70), we have decided to relieve him of his duties. Postage costs can be found on our website.

Purchasing restrictions

  1. Western Australian patrons - as the WA government has implemented restrictions regarding alcohol purchases, we are only able to sell 1 case per person per week. Please call me if you have any questions regarding this (my details are on the "Contact Us" page).
  2. Eastern States patrons - at this stage, there are no restrictions on your alcohol purchases. Buy as much as you need!

Precautionary measures

  1. Please rest assured we are taking all necessary precautions in packing and posting our wine.
